Bigger Stand for Red Rhino at 2011

Last year’s SED exceeded all expectations for Winfield Engineering, the new owners of Red Rhino Crushers, who exhibited at the show for the very first time. Production director Alan Hardisty said, “We were blown away with the interest in our machines. We have already booked our stand for the 2011 event – but we are taking a bigger stand on the showground so we can demonstrate the Red Rhino Crushers, which we were unable to do last year.”

Not letting grass grow underfoot, Red Rhino has been busily improving the recently launched 3000 Multiform crusher, making it even more versatile than before. Hardisty reported, “It has been reduced in size and weight to enable it to be fitted to a skid-steer unit, an existing development that Rhino know a lot of current plant owners and hirers will be pleased to hear!”

The 3000 Multiform has a similar crushing capacity to the tracked 5000 series Red Rhino, but without the engine. This unit can be run from either an independent power pack or from any machine with an auxiliary oil flow of 65+ litres per minute at 138bar (2000 PSI).

Red Rhino are also looking ahead to yet another re-launch, the 'Daddy' of the range, the established 7000 series tracked crusher.

The 7000 is capable of crushing in the region of 45 tonnes per hour, Rhino's general manager. Julian Mik commented, "The interest we have had in the larger 7000 series Red Rhino is phenomenal, especially from overseas. We are looking forwards to demonstrating this machine on site at our premises here in Grantham very soon."

Red Rhino has recently launched a new web site (www.redrhinocrushers.com) although the web address remains the same the site has had a complete overhaul with improved functionality, a new hire locator facility and plenty of information, pictures and video's of the entire range. There’s also a facility to sign up to The Rhino newsletter which is sent out every 6-8 weeks full of the latest news and developments from Team Rhino.
