Ladybird brings cranes to SED

Ladybird Tower Cranes has committed to exhibit at SED 2011 ladybirdfollowing the cancellation of the 2010 event. It will be the fourth year that Ladybird has exhibited at the National Event for Construction.

The company says that the stand will focus on the complete range of services that it offers including, Terex Crane Sales, Used Crane Sales, Crane Hire, CPCS Operator Training and the revolutionary GAPO Specialist Transport System, which was successfully launched at last year’s SED.

Ladybird managing director, Robert Bird said, “This change of emphasis is based on customer feedback from previous shows where we have had as much interest for crane hire and used crane sales as for new sales.”

He continued, “The experience of recent years has highlighted the importance of residual values and our fleet of Terex and Potain tower cranes have maintained their values, despite the downturn, being truly global brands.  This will be key message at the show.”

Bird concluded, “The 2011 show will be a real opportunity to promote the pedestrian operated crane concept that has shown real resilience through the downturn as builders investigate the best possible and most cost effective ways to build.”

Ladybird will be showing a Terex Self-Erecting Crane and also the GAPO specialist transport system that has revolutionised the company’s ability to manoeuvre cranes on site.

SED 2011 from 17th - 19th May at Rockingham Motor Speedway, Corby Northants.
