Kabco Introduce New ‘Luxury’ Welfare Unit
In response to the demand for premium, high specification welfare facilities, Kabco has developed a composite paneled unit that benefits from a self supporting structure, aesthetically pleasing stainless steel surfaces and industry standard windows and doors. “This product is at the ‘luxury’ end of the welfare market.” Reports Daniel Ezzatrar Kabco’s company manager.
The ‘top of the range’ Kabco Composite panels contain insulation material, which is sandwiched between GRP (interior) and steel (exterior). This lends itself to improved thermal dynamics throughout, making the unit more energy efficient.
Other features include, patented air suspension ensuring soft ride when towing. The transport industry recognises air suspension as the method of choice in reducing fatigue to both chassis and cargo.
Additional environmentally friendly extras include plug in solar panels that can be added on to the 12v battery system and an optional rainwater harvesting system for toilet flushing.
At the other end of the scale, Kabco recently launched the Kabco Cub, the prototype was on display at SED 09. Since its launch the unit has been selling like hot cakes! “The Cub unit is the most competitively priced unit on the market and was built in response to the downturn in the market,” said Mr Ezzatrar.
“The Cub benefits from ground lowering air suspension and industry standard appliances and parts, ensuring that the savings that the unit has to offer do not stop at the purchase price. We now have a rolling stock of units in build to satisfy short notice customer demand.” Mr Ezzatrar concluded.
