Corby Based Mace Book for 2011
Corby, Northamptonshire based Mace Industries, will be at SED next year(2011) showing their ingenious Bumpa and Shifta machines – designed to make shifting materials on site a whole lot easier. The company will also be showing and demonstrating its Supa Screen, which is a portable screen for soils and aggregates.
A roofers slang term for loading a roof is "bumping out" this inspired the name for the ‘Bumpa’, which is a loading machine, designed by the Mace brothers, in a potting shed back in the 80’s. Today the new generation of "Bumpa" is the most popular portable loading machine on the market and according to Mace Industries is the fastest loading machine in the world! The ‘Bumpa’ will be demonstrating at SED 2011.The company’s ‘Shifta’ machine will also be making another appearance. The ‘Shifta’ is a portable conveying system for shifting materials such as stone, aggregates, soil concrete, and chippings etc.
Look out too for the newly introduced ‘Supa Screen’, which is totally portable and is only 750mm wide for easy access through gates and tight sites. It’s capable of 100 tons a day work load and has dual auxiliary sockets -(perfect when running with the Shifta conveyors). Supa Screen has a large screen size of 1200mm x 720mm and is easy loading from Shovel, Wheel Barrow, Dumper or Excavator.
